One night when his allergies flared up, he threw a tarp over the bed of his pick up truck and slept in the back. After conducting some research, he noticed a gap in the recreational industry between ground tents and expenses RVs. In 1990, Roman founded Napier Enterprises and launched the first Sportz Original Truck Tent.
