This Machete that I purchase is by far the best Machete I have ever own. And I Have own several machetes that I have taken in the woods with me, I am a hunter especially for Deer. It is very easy to sharpen, and the blade is a lot stronger than I expected it to be. I thought maybe the blade would be some cheap metal, that it would take long man-hours getting sharpen. But boy was I wrong, and the price is super great for this knife. I am overly impressed, and I am in the process of ordering another real soon. Though I have yet had the chance to use it, this machete comes with a nicely sharpened edge.I tested it out on a sheet of paper and it sliced right through. The blade isn't flimsy either, it will hold up well.

The distal end of the blade bends too easy along the sharp edge. The metal lanyard on the handle actually becomes uncomfortable when swinging. It does seem to hold its sharpness quite nicely.
In addition, it handles easily.
