The only design comment I have is that the handle needs to be a bit more tactile to ward off ergonomic stress.

The machete seems to be made well. But I have yet to use it since it is not sharp enough to cut the light brush I intend to cut. So I now have to find a local company that will sharpen it so it will be functional. Obviously, I am somewhat disappointed.
